SHIPPING & RETURNS
Shipping Method
Orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours, Monday through Friday. We do not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
The customer can be notified by e-mail indicating the date that the order was shipped with a copy of the invoice, as well as any information on the company and the name of the person who deals with shipping records.
Two options are available :
- Regular shipping within Canada – $17.00
- Regular shipping other countries- $20.00
- Express in Canada only – $40.00
For Canadian residents sales tax will be added to the invoice!
You can pay using:
We use Canada Post for all shipments outside Canada. Shipments within Canada will be shipped with the carrier of our choice.
- Delivery in most urban areas in Canada is 1 to 6 days.
- Delivery outside of Canada is 6 to 21 days depending on destination, the province or country.
- Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and the service used.
- Please note that we are not responsible for delays beyond our control (weather, theft, lost packages, etc).
If the product is not received within 21 days from the date of mailing, the client must inform Protective Ostomy Belt at the following email address : info@ostomycares.com
A search to retrace his order will then be conducted. If four weeks from the date of shipment, the customer has still not received his order, he must inform Protective Ostomy Belt so that a replacement can be sent at no cost to the customer.
If a notification arrives indicating that the package is at customs it is deemed to be received by the customer.
In all cases where a client is informed of a delay, the client must notify Protective Ostomy Belt as soon as the product is received.
Return of Goods Policy
Due to the intimate nature of our products, they are regarded as underwear and therapeutic products. We regret that we cannot accept the return of goods.
No returns or replacement of articles will be possible for all purchases made in store, from an authorized distributor, by telephone or through the internet site with the following exceptions:
If an item is defective or damaged, it will be exchanged for another one of the same style. If this item is no longer available, a full credit will be issued. The client can apply the credit toward the purchase of another product of his choice. Protective Ostomy Belt, Montreal, Quebec, Canada will absorb the cost of shipping and handling of the replacement item. Certain conditions apply:
- Notify Protective Ostomy Belt within ten (10) days of receipt.
- The article should not have been worn.
- Provide proof of purchase.
- The product should be returned in the original packaging in good condition no later than 30 days after the date of purchase. The hygiene standards must be respected.
